Dear EYFDM friends and colleagues
We are delighted to welcome you to the next Preconference of EYFDM in 2023 in Belgium! On 6 and 7 June 2023 we expect a hundred young GPs from all over Europe in Brussels.
We hope to inspire you with our theme “You can’t always get what you want”.
For everyone who is interested in discovering Family Medicine in Belgium on the spot, we will organise a Preconference Exchange on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 June 2023.
It’s not just serious business in Brussels. We are planning a spectacular social program, so you will get the opportunity to get to know the other participants and to explore our beautiful capital! We aim to be a family friendly conference, so we would like to invite you to bring your child(ren) and partner.
The venue of the Preconference will be in the INAMI-RIZIV Galilee building, easily accessible by train or subway and nearby the venue of the WONCA main conference.
You can find some more detailed information soon on this website, but mark 6-7 June in your calendar already if you don’t want to miss out on anything.

Registration opens in November 2022 and is open for every family doctor (in training) who wants to attend the EYFDM Preconference, with or without registration for the WONCA main conference. You can choose to register for the scientific programme only. You cannot register for the social programme only. Registration for the Preconference Exchange opens in January 2023.
Family Friendly Preconference
We aim to be a family friendly conference. Children are welcome during the whole conference to attend the keynote sessions and workshops together with you. We will set up a family room where you can play and relax with your child(ren) at any time during the day, where you can breastfeed or pump and store breastmilk. Please indicate during the registration process whether you think you will bring your child(ren) in order to offer you the best possible infrastructure. A couple of months before the Preconference we will contact you with more details and ask you to confirm the presence of your child(ren).
